benefits from baddies (SPAMMERS and DOS and PHISHERS)

we all know some baddies STEAL network information about SG for their evil DOS (denial of service) lists which they share on hacker forums.
a pox on these evildoers!

but!

i was wondering, why were my SG addresses getting no spam?
i mean, i was signing up for very spammy services, but i got NADA.
it wasnt even going to my SG gobble count.
now maybe this is entirely thanks to excellent SG engineering? (most likely.)

but!

what if just a little bit of it is because the SPAMMERS and THIEVES are working together: the THIEVES helping redirect SPAM away from us to more likely victims?

interesting thought!

and, if a PHISHING site IS cooperating with these THIEVES to launch a DOS ATTACK against us, maybe it is better for us that this stops us from being PHISHED further?
