I'm also seeing this issue when trying to create a new user account. Is registration disabled again?

Same here.
If there is currently no time to look into this, it would be easier if the registration option would be disabled again.

This same 500 Internal Server Error, upon trying to open an account, seems active today, 2020 Sept. 8.

FTR, it fails for me too: Internal Server Error.

I'm attempting to create an account for my family, as I've been raving about my use of spamgourmet for years. (Thanks, BTW!)

Just an update about this, when we updated to a systemd version of debian in 2019, I was not aware of all the services that needed new service files written. captchasrv is an important part of account creation, and some time in November I created a proper service file for that.
