It would be nice to have the protected address field require a mouse click before the field becomes editable. Currently, even clicking within the protected address field activates the save button and I have personally found that upon automated login, the field was cleared and saved requiring a reentry and re-verification of the protected address. How often do people change it, wouldn't the changes to the protected address be better off somewhere other than at the top level of the basic and advanced pages? Is my problem isolated to me?

I don't really understand the scenario that you are presenting. Can you please tell me which browser you're using and how you end up modifying the address field?
