Mean, did somebody doesnt likes sg, or just to test their own skills ?
Any script kiddie can launch a DDoS these days. There are thousands of viruses around that install silently on Windows machines when the owner uses IE and visits a site that silently installs a payload, among many methods. Then the payload reports and listens to orders on an IRC channel. If you own the payload's password, you can sell the password (and thus remote ownership of the machine) to anyone. Ten dollars will get you 1500 machines these days.
When you "own" thousands of machines, setting them up to launch a DDoS is not hard. Very minimal skills involved.
As for the "why", well, I suppose that a spammer got outraged at the fact that some people actually want to use their email without having to sift through crap, which is the purpose of sg. Actually, it's rather flattering, it means spammers think we are a threat. Also, it means that we are Real Men, since vermin and lowlife hate us. To quote:
A good man is known by his enemies. (Proverb)
and
Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.
