Can I delete SG disposable addresses from my list?

Postby burnt » Thu Aug 31, 2006 10:56 pm

...So I don't have to review the unused/"zero messages remaining" addresses while resetting the ones I want to keep...
I apologize in advance if this has been answered before because I don't have time to search. THANKS!

Deleting addresses

Postby mysticturner » Thu Aug 31, 2006 11:32 pm

You can't delete an address. If you think about it, it's self defeating. Lest say you have address x that you've either let the count go to zero or intentionally moved to zero to stop them from spamming you. If you could delete it, SG would no longer know that x@sg.com is a bit bucket address and thus would create the address x with the next spam sent to x.

What you can do is mark the address as hidden. That way you won't see it on your list of addresses. It's still there, working to toss spam away, but just not cluttering up your list.

Thank you for telling me how - when - it is useful to use the "hidden "mode. Just what I wanted to know.
