gourmet.spamgourmet.com not answering/stalling tonight

I just tried a test e-mail and found that the server is either not answering or answers and stalls before sending the 220- greeting.

I've tried a few times over the past half hour, but only got the greeting once.

Not sure what's up -- thought I'd let you know. Thanks for the service!!

Same problem for me... IT's very slow. Have to wait hours for a mail that have been submitted.. :?

Some mails take more than a week. Today I received a mail dated 2006-08-18. :(

we're manually clearing the queue that built up during the server move and prior to getting the new server tuned -- you *will* continue to receive older mail, if it was coming to you. Most people agree that's better than deleting it. For current mail, we're seeing good perf.

Is this still going on? Things seem to be stopped up again.

No, it's not still going on -- the queue is cleared, and the service has been generally good for the last week or so, as far as I can tell. What happened?

I did some further testing on this. It seems to be specific to my domain. Perhaps a holdover of something you and I tried a couple of years ago. I'll send you a "PM."

Where's the delay here?

Could anyone tell me where the delay is here? It looks to me like the delay occurs on the SpamGourmet end but I may be misinterpreting the header and time zones.

Thanks,

Simon
