Using SG with mailing lists

Postby fsjws4 » Thu Feb 02, 2006 11:26 pm

I joined a mailing list with an SG address. This list is run by Google Groups, and messages from the list use the actual sender in the To field, not the list's address. So there's not a single address (or even domain) that I can add to the trusted senders.

I don't want to add each list user as a trusted sender, since they come and go at random. Is there a good way to manage this sort of situation with SG?

<<edit>> Sorry, I mean they use the sender address in the From field, not the To field.

Hmmm, that's a hard one. Could you please post the complete headers of a message you received? (you can replace your actual address with xxxx).

Here's one. The group address is in the To: field, and I've added that address to my trusted senders, but that doesn't do it.

Putting the list's email in exclusive sender is working for me.

Right, put the lists' address (xxgroupxx@googlegroups.com in your example) as the exclusive sender for your disposable. Remember, exclusive senders are per disposable, not to be confused with the trusted senders for your account.
