can't login to BBS

For some reason I can't login to the BBS using the same username/password I used to set up my SG account. Aren't they the same?

They're not the same. I set out to do this, but then stopped because

a) I'd be giving spamgourmet database access to the bbs code (probably fine, but you can't be too careful these days) and,

b) haven't had the time

So anyway, if you want to log in, you have to create a new account. I think you can post anonymously (without logging in), though, and that's fine.
