It would be nice if users had a way to set their own timezone variable (somewhere in advanced-mode page).

Not everbody thinks in PST terms...

I myself am in CST/CDT --- I did timezone support for an energy trading application last year -- it was *brutal*

Still, we can put this one on the list.
