UN-trusted Senders

Postby fsjws4 » Thu Oct 28, 2004 4:55 pm

I'd like to see an option for specifically un-trusting a sender.

I have an email account on an obscure domain (we'll call it foo.com). It's a major spam trap, as I posted it all over the place before I knew better, but I still need to be able to get mail from other users on that domain.

I forwarded it to my SG account and added foo.com to my list of trusted senders. Only internal mail went through, everything else got eaten. That took care of things for a long time. But now, the spammers have started sending mail with myname@foo.com as the from address. They're slipping through as a trusted sender.

If I could trust foo.com, but UN-trust myname@foo.com, that would solve the problem -- I'm not likely to send myself mail from there.

Is this possible, or is there another way to handle this problem?

We don't have a blacklist feature. Would non-spam email be matched by a well-chosen prefix?
