switchemail.com sent me an email via spamgourmet in which they claimed I was their customer etc etc. I've never heard of them before and they used a spamgourmet address which they made up. I didn't give it to them. I checked the headers and it appears to me that it came from their servers, so I don't think it was a malicious attempt to discredit them. Is anyone else getting these emails? I say avoid these assholes.

That's weird, they seem to have a solid reputation of anti-spam activism. Can you please post the full message headers (anonymizing your own address with xxx if needed)?

switchemail is using Microsoft-IIS/5.0 on Win2k, not the tightest combo in the world (actually a recipe for disaster in my opinion). This alone makes sure they have been or will be a victim of a security incident.
