[Bug] Weird problem with address masking

Postby xdcdx » Wed Jun 30, 2004 11:54 am

Address masking has been working flawlessly for me on a lot of messages, but it just failed in this one:

Hello,

I think that Reply-To and X-Sender header fields are masked correctly, but From is not.

Reply-To: "noReply@divxsubtitle.net"<+sg_word+sg_user+9008e1351d.noReply#divxsubtitle.net@spamgourmet.com>
X-Sender: +sg_word+sg_user+f74041fc79.noreply#divxsubtitles.net by gsx.virtuaal.ee (8.12.10/8.12.10/Submit) id i5TEExOS027431;@spamgourmet.com

From: +sg_word+sg_user+f74041fc79.noreply#divxsubtitles.net.by.gsx.virtuaal.ee.id.i5TEExOS027431;@spamgourmet.com; (8.12.10/8.12.10/Submit);

If you need my real sg_username and the real sg_word I used for debugging, just tell me.

Obviously, it does not matter if address masking does not work with this concrete message, because it is a 'noreply' address, but this could fail on messages with correct reply addresses. On top of that, it disturbed Gmail: the message appears with the subject 'Unable to parse correctly' and '(unknown sender)' appears in the From field.

Bugg ?
It doesn't work at all for me :cry:
I use mozilla.
when I send to my spamgourmet@mail with another @box asking a "return receipt " ; each time, in the header of the return receipt , my real @box appears....
Knowing it, it's not a real problem, I use the fonctionnality of sending a mail from one of my spamgourmet@ on the website and it's ok .....
:wink:

spamgourmet is a very useful project and congratulations to the crew
( French translate is very good )

Régis,

J'ai du mal à comprendre ton problème avec Mozilla. Tu peux me l'expliquer en français.
