Multiple trusted senders for one spamgourmet address

Postby Aki » Tue May 11, 2004 8:41 am

Hi.

Can I set up several trusted senders for the same Spamgourmet address?
What character must I use to separate the different trusted senders(, or ;)?
The trusted senders are from different domains.

TIA.

we're talking about "exclusive senders" -- the ones that apply only to a particular address, right?

You can try separarting multiple values with a pipe ( | ).

It's not working (|)

Hi.

Yes I am talking about the "exclusive sender" field of the advance mode.
I have tried to use the pipe (|) to separate several domains but it's not working because every message from this addresses is decreasing the number of remaining messages.

TIA,
Aki

we really never intended to support more than one exclusive sender on the address -- would it work to add the senders as "trusted senders" for your account?

What did you try to enter in the field that didn't work? I just looked at the code and it seems to me that a string such as
(cnn.com|att.net)
should allow both the cnn.com and att.net domains to forward messages without decrementing the remaining count. Unless the UI is not faithfully storing the same characters in the database.

Hi maratheamit & josh.

I am typing: networksolutions.com | thefreewebhosting.com in the field exclusive sender.

To use "trusted senders" could be a solution, but I think is more elegant to allow multiple exclusive senders.

TIA,
