More exception addresses? Or wildcards?

Postby Skeeve » Mon Dec 30, 2013 12:58 pm

Hi!

I'm registered at github with one of my spamgourmet addresses.

Unfortunately all the comments are not send by one github address but by the member's own github address. So now I have to constantly come here and need to reset the counter. I could change to a normal e-mail address, but I wouldn't really like to.

Do you think, allowing wildcards in the sender address, maybe just sender address like "@github.com", where there is just the domain given, would be a good idea?

They do think so, which is why it's possible. Just enter github.com without any "@" as the exclusive sender of that address.

You can do so in advance by using the words "*" or "domain" as your "number" (whatever.number.username@...). Read the FAQ for more info about it.
