Small suggestion to change sender and email domain format

Hi,

Currently we have someword.+.name@sg and sw.*.name@sg as the means of specifying that we want the sender and domain to be whitelisted. Would it be possible to change these to 2 letters after T? Maybe Y and Z?

Similar to how the count works, for eg, someword.yordle.name@spamgourmet.com will make the sender trusted and using zebra there would make the whole domain trusted. The reason this would be better is because the email ids look a little more clean and a little less weird.

Thanks!

that's a really good idea, and it would be easy to implement. My only hesistation is that there may be users out there expecting the higher letters to mean 20, and they'd be suprised, but let me think about it.

Great! As a fix to that, maybe we could do both .. Give them the 20 count and also the exclusive sender. Or maybe use a double letter ( eg. if it was yo, yordle would work and yesterday wouldn't), and provide some sort of additional info in the subject/body of message that the person is now an exclusive sender. Could that work?
