Used address for starting and verifying accounts

If I started, say, a Google Groups Account then a verification would be needed via e-mail.

If I used a spamgourmet address then that email would become spent after, say, three uses.

As an example, suppose later on, maybe months, I decided to change the e-mail address on Google Groups, I would then be required to verify via the new email address (not a problem). But I would also be required to respond to the original email address, which has now expired.

How would I overcome this problem?

You need to set the allowed remaining emails from that address to be >0 again, one more say.

Go to Advanced mode and click the "Search addresses" button (no need to enter anything in the field unless you have several hundred of them).

Click on the one you want, and it brings up an "Update Adress" page. This has a "Remaining Messages" field which in your Google case will be "0". Change this "0" to "1" (or more to be sure of it). Then click "Update Address".
