Setting Up New Domains

Postby mbz » Sat Jul 09, 2011 4:56 am

I'd like to use spamgourmet for 3 domains I just registered: mbenz.org, mbzmail.com, and mercedesmail.com. I have access to change the MX record on my domain host, but am unsure how to set up everything. Can someone please point me to the right direction? Thank you.

just set them up with a single MX record pointing to gourmet.spamgourmet.com - we'll need to do the rest on our side.

One is, but with pretty interesting configuration:
Non-authoritative answer:
mbzmail.com mail exchanger = 10 gourmet.spamgourmet.com.
mbzmail.com mail exchanger = 30 mx.mbzmail.com.

It would be really nice to know what configuration exactly is being used with mx.mbzmail.com

AFAIK: I recommend that nobody uses those domains before configuration is correct for sure.

There is also another warning sign, real owner information of those domains is hidden:
Code: Select all

I should have been more clear - the *only* mx record for the domains should point to gourmet.spamgourmet.com (or gourmet7.spamgourmet.com) - if there are any other records, then some mail will be going to one place, and other mail going to another (not spamgourmet), perhaps, and that's probably not what anybody expects or wants.
