Use alternative header(s) for trusted/exclusive sender?

Postby Guest » Tue Feb 10, 2004 1:26 pm

Hi,

Is there any enthusiasm for being able to specify a header other than From: to search for a trusted or exclusive sender? The actual originator of an e-mail may appear in other headers. I like using sg addresses to sign up to mailing lists, but in a couple of them I'm getting a lot of messages eaten because the mailing list is set up to put the originating e-mail address in the To: header (questionable I know, but there is a lot of it about).

Any thoughts?

You may add the disposable address itself as its exclusive sender. This feature is intentionally undocumented and should be used only when necessary.
