"Send Message As" always uses original domain

I originally used "spamgourmet.com" as the domain, but now use "xoxy.net".
I first used name.me@spamgourmet.com.

I later signed up for a newsgroup with name.me@xoxy.net. I now want to unsubscribe and I have to send a blank msg from the name I signed up with (name.me@xoxy.net)

As far as I can tell, "Send Message As" only allows me to send from the domain that originally created the address (spamgourmet.com) and not xoxy.net.

"Send Message As" only allows you to pick the domain if the address doesn't exist yet, else it forces you to use the domain that originally created the address. I feel this restriction should be removed.

Any idea how I can send a msg using the new domain?

Can you try switching the domain manually (in the resulting text line), and see if it they get it from the right domain?
