Suggestion: always eat spam for hidden address

Hi,

Spammers have glommed onto a hidden address that I once used.

Unfortunately, quite a few of the messages are forged from bestbuy.com which is in my list of trusted senders.

It makes sense that mail destined for a non-hidden address with a "remaining count" of zero should still be delivered if the "from" address is in the list of trusted senders.

However, if the destination address is hidden, I would think that all mail to that address would be eaten, as hiding it is a good indicator that I really don't want to receive any mail sent to that address.

Thanks for your consideration!

exclusive sender as an alternative

Wouldn't giving bestbuy a dedicated address and then setting them as the exclusive sender for that address be a better solution to your problem?

Yup, that's also what I'd suggest.
