Amazon wishlist for SG?

Postby fmus » Sat Aug 04, 2007 1:07 pm

Have the SG Powers That Be considered posting a Amazon wishlist (or similar from another vendor)? I don't have spare cash very often but I end up with some Amazon credits from time to time. Last time I had one I scoured SG and didn't find mention of any wishlist.

Just got another GC from amazon. This'd be a good time to publish the wishlist if you have one...

(editing to add in the link: http://tinyurl.com/37zjc6 which is the amazon page for wish lists)

Syskoll -- you want to set one up? You could have the books shipped to the Syskoll office :)

Wow... I had two books on my Amazon wish list and I got them both yesterday... Thank you Greg D, thank you Tim B.

I have done many software projects in my life, but few users were ever as nice as the spamgourmet crowd. Thank you all, guys!

Hey SysKoll, you should add more stuff to your wishlist. I think we've cleaned it out!

You guys are awesome! I added two books that will help me face our next projects. To start with, we're not going to add any snazzy feature, but just work hard to improve performance.

Hey Syskoll, I tried to send you a used book (in very good condition) from your wishlist. I know I cheaped out, but it is a big price difference.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like Amazon will ship used books to wish list addresses. Perhaps to retain anonymity.

(*** We're sorry. This item can't be shipped to a Wish List or gift registry address. ***)

I sent you the Javascript Guide before.

If you want you can PM me a post office box or some address to ship to. Of course, if I were in your place, I would not be giving out any of my personal info to anyone.

Regards.

Thank you, fmus!

My limited reading bandwidth is now saturated, thanks to the generosity of you spamgourmet users!
