I haven't had any messages forwarded in the last 8 hours. Is anyone else having this problem?

No. don't receive the mail I'm expecting. It's reported as being forwarded but it doesn't arrive.

We had some DNS trouble that caused a portion of our email to be held. That is fixed now.

Hi
I know this is an old thread but I am having problems with at least one of my xoxy.net addresses. Email from Dell to confirm a new purchase has not arrived for 36 hours.
Address count shows Dell sent me 4 confirmation emails and none have arrived.
I use xoxy.net a lot and I do not know if anyone else is trying to contact me.

I can see why you are concerned. Please send a PM to "info" or to me specifying your sg user name, the disposable you gave to Dell, and the approximate date at which the emails were sent.

Hi Syskol
Not an SG problem.
I recently switched off the 'catch All' feature on my ISP account.
My SG forwarding address had a small error that did not matter before; but now all my SG email was rejected by my ISP.
Just how much I lost, I do not know.
Thanks for your help.

Glad to know the problem was found and solved.

As for how much email was lost, we can look into our logs and give you at least a list of the email senders and dates for the last few days. Let me know if you're interested.

Hi
Thanks for your offer.
I wont take it up because I also use MailWasher and I use my domain based email address with friends and business colleagues. I programmed the filters in MailWasher to delete spam that stole my domain address.
I use SG for all the other web sites that want an email address. It allows me to control who sends me email and to switch them off when am no longer interested.

Nope 9ox, spamgourmet and xoxy all domains having problems. It's not about domain, it's about MX server gourmet7 not being reachable. I did just sent private message to "info" with all required details.

This is happening almost all the time. With any SG domain. Is spamgourmet blacklisting some mail servers? Like Nokia servers?

Code: Select all
Reporting-MTA: dns; nkemconn05.nokia.prod.oz.com
Action: failed
Status: 4.0.0
Diagnostic-Code: X-Postfix; connect to gourmet7.spamgourmet.com[216.75.62.102]:
server refused to talk to me: 554 SMTP service not available

After about 100 random checks done during last 24 hours, about 70% of connections ended up with message:

Code: Select all
421 Too many concurrent SMTP connections; please try again later.

Which really isn't really a good thing. But I was expecting something like that. I wouldn't bother to test this out, if I wouldn't suspect this kind of fundemental problem.
