8tracks breach

A rep of SpyCloud let me know that there were accounts using spamgourmet addresses included in a recent breach at 8track.com
Sort of business as usual for us - I mean, this possibility is one of the reasons we use spamgourmet addresses when we sign up for stuff.
It's unusual for me to get an alert like this, though. So I thought I would try to pay the courtesy forward somehow by making this post.
She mentioned that the breach included password hashes made without the best encryption, so if you're an 8track.com user who may be using the same password on other sites (including spamgourmet) - you should change passwords as soon as possible.
