Yes, it's important not to soft bounce anything due to those reasons. I'm not sure how exactly spamgourmet handles currently messages forwarded to non-existing addresses. And if that SG to be used for soft bounces. But at least in some point of time, bounce was relayed back via SpamGourmet which would allow spamming with bounces coming from SG server. Unfortunately I'm busy, so I won't test how it works right now.
