I am trying to register for a new service.
I gave a spamgourmet address with @9ox.net
When I checked my address list, the address has @xoxy.net
As a result the address used to register on the service is unusable.
Further, the email address is also the account name when I log in.
I now need to register all over again with a new spamgourmet address.
How can I be sure this will not happen again?

don't know how that could have happened -- can you post or PM the headers of the message that came through to the xoxy.net domain?

I don't think there was a message.
I was registering onto a new service and I expected to receive a confirmation message when I had finished. This address is not mentioned in the short deleted items log.
The email address was set up before I had finished the new service set-up.
This has happened previously (an address set-up during the process of registering) but the email address was OK.
