Can I get my Trusted Senders email to my SG address directly

Postby iridius » Thu Feb 15, 2007 1:51 pm

Can I get my Trusted Senders email to my SG address directly without the use of a prefix.

I just want something that isn't too long or obnoxious looking for those people that I've added to my trusted senders lists...

my spamgourmetID@spamgourmet for example would be great. But I don't think that works does it?

You need to add at least a word before your account name, with a dot between the two.

It used to work, but we had to disable it because our system was working too hard due to dictionary spammers

what do you guys/girls use as an easy to remember format?

I thought...

email.username@spamgourmet.... but that's a bit redundant.

I tell some correspondants to write me using "from.joe.to.syskoll@sg". Works very well.

But wouldn't it give that account 20 messages (the letter T ["to"] is the twentieth letter of the English alphabet)?

Yeah, unless the sender is a trusted sender, in which case the counter limit doesn't apply.
