Double increment in 1 msg

Hi!
Yesterday I received a number of spam messages (in an oriental font) to a sg address that is used for a private (?) mailing list. In one of the msg's there was a double increment in the count. The subject line read
"レンコンじゃダメですか？ (xxxx: message 2 of 20) (XXXX: message 3 of 20)

The first instance was all lowercase, the 2nd all uppercase.

I'll send the account info and headers privately.

I got a message with the same problem today. there were two identical messages. The second one had the subject line:
Become an AARP Member and Get All the Great Benefits (freegift: message 2 of 20) (freegift: message 3 of 20)

The first one hat the following subject line:
Become an AARP Member and Get All the Great Benefits (freegift: message 2 of 20)
