changed password not valid for https secure login?

Postby vorkoster » Thu Feb 16, 2006 11:46 am

After changing the sg password it is only possible to login on www.spamgourmet.com for me.

The secure login on https://spruce.he.net doesn't work ("wrong password").

Are these different databases?

no -- same database -- the new PW should work on both. Have you tried it with a fresh browser? Does the old pw continue to work in secure mode (I can't imagine that, but I have to ask)?

https://www.spamgourmet.com/

seems to be broken. It might work if you know alternate url, but at least that default forwarding points to wrong place.

Could this be fixed?

- Thank you!

that URL has never been valid. We piggyback on our ISP, he.net, for the secure page. The url is, I believe, https://spruce.he.net/~jqh1 -- this is the URL that's in the link for "secure" on the main page.

Hmm... Ok, so that was the trick that I were thinking of. Going to normal page and choosing secure login.

But it seems that www.spamgourmet.com works also but it just redirects to he.net front page. Could it redirect to "right" place directly?

- Thanks

We don't have a certificate for www.spamgourmet.com, and that would be required in order to supply any information to a browser in that context (including a redirect).
