Black list of senders : A feature request

Postby Subu » Sun Oct 09, 2005 10:48 am

Hi

Developers / Administrators / owner(s)

Thanks for this excellent disposable address service - spamgourmet.com

Though I started using this as disposable address, over a period of time - especially with lists, some addresses become important and hence difficult to dispose :-)

So...

Is there a possible BLACK list that you are thinking of - very much like normal black lists that move mail to spam, only that your black list should DELETE mail

Thanks in advance

Hi,

We think black lists are a poor approach to spam and cause more trouble that they avoid, so we avoid this approach entirely.

100% true. I have been laughing so much when stupid people are trying to use outlook express blacklist address list to block spam... ;)

Just use spamgourmet, if required change address often enough. And don't NEVER use your "real" email address. You can define it to directly delete all messages that DIDN'T come trough spamgourmet. (user header filtering)
