Log of Message(s) sent from a disposable address

Postby Guest123 » Sun May 15, 2005 5:30 am

Hi

Just as you have a "log" of message(s) eaten, message(s) sent to protected address etc. ....

Do you have a log of messages that have been sent *out* from (or say sent *out using* ) one of the disposable addresses

sorry If I asm asking for too much

TIA

No, there is no log of sent messages. Your MUA (email application) should keep that log for you.

Yeah ! I appreciate that

But, I was wondering if ... just in case spamgourmet did *not*, forward a mail, what happens ?

TIA

An incident is always possible, I'll grant you that. Normally, sendmail is quite reliable and doesn't randomly trash messages. A message stays in the queue until it's sent. The only thing that could bar a message from being sent after it has been queued is a disk problem or a manual sabotage.

Do you think you have lost some forwarded mail? If so, let me know.
