Exclusive sender still decreases number of remaining message

I got last Friday a couple of messages coming from an exclusive sender for one of my addresses that actually decreased the number of remaining messages for that addresse...

The subject line looked like:

<subject> (grosbill: newsletter@grosbill.com exclusive sender for this address) (grosbill: message 1 of 5)


Checking on the web site, the number of remaining messages had indeed been decreased. I had to bump it up again.

Ideas ?

Looks like previously, the from address of a message from an exclusive sender was looking like:

Code: Select all
real_name@real_domain.com [spamgourmet_address]


Today, the from addresses appear as

Code: Select all
spamgourmet_address


only. At least, that's how it appears in Outlook.

(spamgourmet address is +word+username+gibberish...#original_domain@spamgourmet.com)

Hmmm, looking at it more closely, it looks like those messages are old, sent end of Dec04 or early Jan05, and arriving only today.
Left overs from the Dec crash ?

It's possible that you got some message that were lingering in the queue. The crash happened at the end of december and the mess was cleared up only last week.
