...or just sporadic. Spamgourmet tells me that a mail was forwarded to me at about 10 PST and it's still not here.
I'll second that..

I had two emails sent to one of my addresses, according to the stats. The second (2 of 6) made it my account, but no sign of the first one.
Hopefully it's only delayed, somewhere in the ether.

This is the first I've heard of delays for a couple of weeks -- could there be some other problem?

another thing I should mention is that we're flushing the queue from mid december today, so a bunch of old mail may be coming through to you. That would make things look sporadic.

Maybe. I just sent out 2 times a mail to 2 of my accounts. Each one being forwarded to another mail provider and each time coming from another mail provider. The only mails not going through involved the same provider. So I fear I have to ask them what's going on there...

You were right josh! I didn't realise that it's possible for Mozilla to fail to even try a connection to one account while 2 others still work. Sorry for bugging you!
could be related

I've noticed that a lot of the e-mail coming in to me recently from spamgourmet addresses have incorrect dates. The e-mails have originated today, but come in dated on Dec. 12th to 16th. I can provide full headers, but they show departing servers dating the e-mail on the Jan 5th, while spamgourmet claims to have received it in December. My mailserver properly reports the current date.

We're clearing the queue from the December crash -- that's why you're receiving email from December. It seemed like the lesser of two evils (the greater being to *not* clear it). We realized this would cause some people to freak out, but after announcing what we were doing in the "news" section, we decided to proceed with it.
Delays in mail sent Jan 06/07?

Hello josh & others,
Firstly, thanks a 1,000,000 for the great site. I constantly espouse it to geek friends & they always ignore my espousals. Fools, all of them.
Anyhow, I'm expecting 3 specific emails that were sent yesterday / today - I got some of the December mails yesterday & today and also some mails that were sent *after* the missing 3.
Has there been some strange behaviour today? If the mail queue normally FIFO?
Cheers
Rob

no - everything's been running smoothly for awhile -- maybe there's some other reason. If you like, send some specifics to info and I'll look into it.
