bbs.spamgourmet.com

Today I received 2 Mails which seemed to be from spamgourmet.

Both were infected with the MYDOOM worm.

The mails said something like this:

Dear user of spamgourmet.com,

We have found that your account was used to send a huge amount of spam messages during the last week.
Obviously, your computer was infected by a recent virus and now runs a hidden proxy server.

Please follow instruction in order to keep your computer safe.

Sincerely yours,
spamgourmet.com support team.

I think this is a fake to trap some users of spamgourmet. The messages were send to one of my disposable addresses.

That one's been on the loose for awhile, -- it's not spamgourmet specific. It looks at people's address books, then grabs the domain name from the addresses and fakes the administrative From: address based on the domain.
