something.*.something@spamgourmet.com.ex star problem

Postby mika84 » Thu Jul 29, 2004 7:26 pm

Hi!

I have noticed that several systems that ask for email address, doesn't accept * mark in address. So they claim address to be invalid.

Could there be some other mark to be used to replace that * mark?

I think this problem is so "general" that there already should be solution for this. That's why I didn't post to developer / general discussion.

Or do I just need to use exclusive sender . hack?

Regards,

you can use the word 'domain' (without the quotes) in place of the *, and you can use the word 'sender' (without the quotes) in place of the +
