Spamgourmet converts 8-bit mail to base64, grrrrrrrrrrrr!

Base64 is unreadable in the mailer I use. Why does SpamGourmet take it upon itself to interfere with the mail as it's passed through? I do realise this won't be a problem for most people, but it's a nightmare for me. If there's a way of turning this 'feature' off, I'd appreciate knowing. Besides, I really want my mail to be interfered with as little as possible -- adding a header or two is ok, but CHANGING anything is, in my view, out of order.

But, that all said, thanks for a wonderful service that I've been using for a long long time.

not sure what you mean -- whatever's happening, it's certainly not intentional -- have you seen the code?
