Custom Domain

Postby Noffie » Fri Jan 06, 2017 2:40 pm

What happens if I point the MX records on my own domain to spamgourmet server?

E.g: If my domain was noffie.com, and my spamgourmet user was example, would I be able to email test.example@noffie.com and have it hit my spamgourmet account and forward?

Did you read the FAQ?
Look for this section:
Wow, I have an idle domain I'd like to use for spamgourmet addresses. How can I do that?

I did read that, but that seems to involve setting up my own email server that would have the ability to do some sophisticated mail forwarding. I was wondering what would happen if I just had MX records pointed to spamgourmet. Or if there is another simpler way? Trying to keep it free (other than the custom domain) but if that's not possible so be it.
