Installing spamgourmet on Debian with Postfix and ISPConfig

Postby Marco_G » Thu Nov 24, 2011 11:38 am

Hello everyone

I've been using Spamgourmet for years now and it has really kept the amount of SPAM to a very low level.

I'd like to set up my own spamgourmet server because a lot of sites start rejecting spamgourmet.com adresses.

Now is there any release younger than 10 years and/or a setup guide for people not quite on the level of Unix guru? ;)

If not, I'll have to commit an software dev faux-pas and ask: Is there a more modern/easier alternative to Spamgourmet?

Thanks

I have found that many places reject a spamgourmet address. It is perhaps an unfortunate name as maybe their system automatically freaks out at the word "spam". I have also seen salesmen raise their eyebrows when I have given them my spamgourmet address in a shop - as they say they need to email me when eg a delivery comes in.

However, I always find they accept one of the other spamgourmet domains - I use recursor.net
