Protected GMail alias address
Posted: Fri Feb 11, 2011 2:21 pmI have just set up my wife with Spamgourmet using her Gmail address as the protected address. I tried to send it to her using a Gmail alias:
herusername+Spamgourmet@Gmail.com which will send to herusername@Spamgourmet.com but will allow her to filter/label emails sent via Spamgourmet.
Unfortunately this address was considered invalid (presumably because of the + symbol).
I already have my GMail address protected using an alias with a + but have now found that I can't change it to another with a + so presumably this validation has been tightened sometime since I signed up.
Could you amend the protected email address validation to accept + symbols?
