I created a temporary address to send an email to a company with an & in their email address and it bounced. "The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 restricted characters in address (state 14)." Does spamgourmet have a problem with & characters?

Where did it bounce

I duuno about spamgourmet, but "&" is officially a legal character.

You could check at what domain it bounced. Was it your ISP, or spamgourmet, or the company's domain you sent to? That should be easily identifiable from the bounce-message text or at least from its email header.

This one looks like a server at the company I sent the email to (J&R, jr.com)
