Automatic refills when sending outbound messages

I searched the forum and FAQ, but could not find any mention of this issue. I just recently noticed that whenever I send an outbound message for my disposable addresses, using "send a message from this address", that the "remaining" count gets set back to 20, which is what I had originally set as the max.

Is this supposed to happen? Its not really a problem for me, because of how I am currently using my disposable addresses, but it seems to me that it is not the intended behavior. Please clarify whether the counter should or should not be resetting in this manner.

it's intentional but you're right, it's not documented. We wanted to avoid the situation where you send a message and the response gets eaten - we considered adding just one to the count, but since we think we can assume that if you're sending a message to an address, you're expecting to communicate effectively on that address for a little while, it seemed safer to just refill.
