I am not an admin, but if this email-id has received msg before
(sent to your SG-id and then on to you) you might wish to
expand and examine the SMTP headers in the most recent ones
that actually got through to you.
|
| If the _sender_ has altered their procedures or mailer
| programme in some way that now includes putting
| "envelope-from" info in the e-mails they are transmitting,
| SG will look at that information INSTEAD OF the "from"
| and "reply-to" headers for determining whether to pass
| or 'eat' the msg.
|
**
** Having the "reply" e-mail id once, twice or a million times
** in your "trusted sender" list will NOT make the slightest
** bit of difference if the e-mail that is sent to you has
** "envelope-from" info that is NOT in your "trusted sender"
** list and the "remaining msg" count is 0
**
This change to SG happened sometime in early part
of 20098, as best I can figger out. I have mentioned it
to Admins on a couple of occasions but have never seen
it addressed, rectified or documented.
