The Myspace problems in the past seem to have been resolved, however, it's happening again: I changed my contact email to an SG address, and Myspace informed me that it has sent the verification email. More than half an hour later, no email. I tried with both @spamgourmet.com and @spamgourmet.net.

Some domains take a very long time to deliver too -- @opera.com is one of them; when I signed up for an account at Opera Portal, the verification took so long that by the time the first email arrived, I'd already reattempted and as a result the first email's code was invalidated.

Ah, this is silly. Turns out email changes at Myspace results in verification emails being sent to the *old*, not *new* address. Please ignore.

The Opera problem is rather curious though. Granted, SMTP does not guarantee delivery, but the lag was rather consistently longer than with other senders.
