It'd be nice if one can choose to go directly to the advanced page when logging in. I could bookmark the advanced page instead, sure, but when logging in from, say, a public computer, that might not be an option.

But shouldn't it be put in the FAQ?

It's on the advanced mode page itself:

"If you have trusted senders, watchwords, or a prefix, you'll see this screen by default when you log in. "
