I wanted to send a circular letter for nearly 50 BCC recipients.

The MAILER-DAEMON returned it to sender and told me, that

the Postfix program at the host gourmet7.spamgourmet.com [216.75.62.102] said:

552 too many recipients
(in reply to RCPT TO command).

Only for the regular TO address was delivered.


Okay, I accept the aspects of security to prevent from dos attacks.
But now my questions:

How many mails (to different recipients) can I send with one single charge?

What will change of that, if I abstain from the RCPT TO command?

I've never seriously tested it with more than one. Spamgourmet is definitely not designed to support sending email to multiple recipients, I can say that -- I would look for an alternative solution.
