Do you have a noreply@ address?

Postby lwc » Thu Jul 16, 2009 7:26 am

I was thinking about doing a vacation message, but obviously I don't want to expose my protected address. So I thought about trying to use a manual FROM header. The question is whether I can use noreply@"the service people may identify me most with" (one of your mirrors)?

it wouldn't bounce - if they try to send to it, we might block their mail server for some time thinking it was a bot - not sure.

On second thought, I guess it would be better to just create noreply as another of my aliases and just make it accept nothing (to be used only in my return form).
