2 weeks of email turned up yesterday for 2 addresses

received 4 emails each to 2 of my disposable email addresses, all from trusted senders, sent dates between 15th April and 25th April.

What makes it more bizarre is that it is not all emails, as I've received several from the same senders (including some follow ups to the ones I got yesterday) that arrived first.

on Mon 27th Apr at 18:16 BST (GMT+1) I received 4 emails to one address, all from a trusted sender

The sent dates on them were:
21st Apr 17:15
21st Apr 16:50
22nd Apr 18:42
25th Apr 12:30

however between the 21st and 27th I had received email at the following times with less than 10 minutes delay, from the same trusted sender:
27th Apr 15:23
27th Apr 11:18
26th Apr 21:10
24th Apr 15:18 8 hour delay on this one
24th Apr 15:42
23rd Apr 21:52 3 hour delay on this one

I'm sorry but I don't have details on the other email address this happened to, but similar thing, all emails from the same trusted sender, some turned up normally, some were delayed to the 27th.

This is years old discussion, nothing new. Email gets delayed or lost and that's not news at all.

It seems to have taken a big dip in just the past couple weeks.

I've lost a few messages in the past couple weeks that I know of, and I've also noticed a significant drop in the amount of mail, so I'm probably missing a lot that I'm not aware of.

The "sent" counters are being advanced, so the SG server is receiving the mail, it's just not delivering.

Anyone know of an SG-like service that can be used when more reliability is needed?
