The last time a message got eaten was 2007-08-10 14:01.

I just sent a test message from gmail and this is what I got:

I looked into it -- there was a pattern of addresses that looked like dictionary attack -- several hundred with a wide alphabetic distribution over a fairly short period of time, and the system automatically defends itself in those situations.

We can manually override, but first we'll need to make sure that doing so won't flood the server -- I did a quick check, and during the couple of seconds I was watching, a couple of messages came in, which could indicate that the account is still being flooded.

If it's possible to create a new account, that would be much easier for everyone, but there are several other approaches we could take -- if she's expecting mail on certain addresses, we can specifically enable them, for instance.
