I am using xoxy.net instead of spamgourmet.com
I have an account on mail.com that I want move off of. That one was working fine. Here's what I did:
- signed up a for gmail.com account.
- changed my protected address in my spamgourmet account.
- received confirmation email from spamgourmet
- confirmed my new address
- sent a "test 1" message. It never arrived.
- switched my protected email back to mail.com and sent "test 2". It arrived at mail.com.
- checked the Spam folder in gmail, but there's nothing there either.

I'm also kind of worried if I lost any email or not. I would do more tests but I don't want to lose any email playing around with it.

So, are there any issues with using gmail with spamgourmet?

I just checked my gmail again and test 1 finally arrive about 9 hours later. Weird.

Final update: I changed my protected address again to gmail and test 3 went through right away. I guess it was just a fluke.

It appears xoxy.net couldn't resolve the hostname gmail.com during that time.
