I was wondering, is it possible to keep say the last 3 or n eaten emails for a short period of time, say a day. I've noticed the odd few eaten emails that I suspect were legit, and a couple I know were (Mandrake changing their domain to Mandriva), although the ones I know were legit are not a problem.

That request would break our work model, which is to function strictly as a mail-forwarding system, by introducing a storage mechanism. I really don't think it's possible.
