Remote apps' use of SG

What is the dev team's policy with regards to non-website access to spamgourmet? What I'm thinking about is a client-side app that will allow one to administer one's addresses, settings, etc... from a local interface as well as a web one. Since SG uses fairly well-defined queries, the actual interfacing won't be too complicated, I imagine, but I don't want to step on any toes if I do this.

our pipe dream was to have standard http interfaces (soap or otherwise) on the main server(s) and have the website call them as an intermediary. We're way off from that.

So, if you want to hit the website with local code, go for it. We can't guarantee compatiblity at this point (especially with the upcoming site overhaul), but it shouldn't be too bad.
